In this setup, slot 11 on hotbar 4 is this exact provoke macro, which upon pressing it attempts to use the skill, but more importantly REMOVES the macro from my bar and replaces it with the non macroed version of the skill, then a second later replaces my hotbar with a dummy copied hotbar that contains the actual provoke macro, so it looks something like this in action. It's also super inefficient in the end, as mentioned, because macros don't queue up like normal abilities meaning you might have to mash the same one a few times to go off. My setup is very basic, but there are much fancier ones possible if you really start getting into it: look for videos on Youtube talking about “extended hotbars” or “rotating hotbars” if you want to see some of the more impressive things you can do using macros to customize your UI.
